FREDRICK DOUGLASS: BIOGRAPHY
Last year I began working on an illustration/motion design project about Fredrick Douglass' trip to Leamington Spa. I hope it pick it back up as time allows. America's Independence Day brought a video of James Earl Jones reading one of Douglass most famous speeches "What to the Slave Is the 4th of July?" The insanity that words spoken in 1885 remain as relevant and hard-hitting today beggars belief. The tone of the speech is well-paired with the gravitas Jones brings every time he talks.
